Education loan Grace Period Extension Act – Amends name IV (Pupil Assistance) associated with the advanced schooling Act of 1965 to increase the elegance duration before payment must start on Direct Stafford Loans from six months to one year after borrowers stop to transport at one-half that is least the conventional full-time scholastic workload.
Extends the federal interest subsidy on Direct Stafford Loans to all or any associated with interest accrued on such loans ahead of the loan payment duration starts. (Presently, the subsidy relates to every one of the interest accrued before a debtor ceases to transport at the least one-half the conventional full-time educational workload. )
